FAQS
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
PT 617 is an out-of-network provider meaning we do not directly accept insurance. Going out of network means that you can choose to see a physical therapist who is not a participating provider with your insurance company. This can be determined by a quick call to your insurance company asking “what are my out-of-network physical therapy benefits?” If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will generally reimburse you anywhere from 40%-90%. We can provide you with an invoice of services to submit to your insurance company.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance. Most insurance plans will not cover weight loss services or medications unless you enter a surgical weight loss program. And even then, they still may not fully cover it. We know this, so we offer our services at nominal costs. However, if you would like to submit a claim to your insurance company yourself, we are happy to provide everything you’ll need.

The World Health Organization has described obesity as an epidemic that is on the rise and “one of the greatest neglected health problems of our time.”
